July 15- Mini Camp: Cosmic Canvas

The countdown begins! Blast off into space from our very own space station. Before we take off, we need to make sure we are prepared with supplies including astronaut food, jet packs, and astronaut gear. The space parts center has everything we need to build a satellite, rover and more. Moon rocks can be found in our sensory bin. Astronauts, flight engineers and scientists will have a variety of tasks throughout the week. Our crafts will be out of this world ;)

What will my child do at camp?

Our mini camp is much more than arts and crafts; it is an immersive experience! Each week leans heavily on the theme with the entire space designed with dramatic play in mind. Each day campers will create a themed craft, engage in a STEAM activity, have time in a themed sensory area and take part in play that enriches imagination and learning. We also have an amazing fenced-in outdoor space used to play games, garden, and flex our creative muscles.

What should my child bring?

Please pack water and a PEANUT FREE snack. We do have snacks available for purchase for a dollar. We use messy art materials please dress accordingly.

Can I be refunded for art camp?

We put a lot of work into creating the best experience for your child. We plan staff and purchase materials around you. Please be mindful when signing up that refunds cannot be given. If your child is sick, we are happy to put together an art kit with all project materials included. It can be picked up at the studio. Thanks for your understanding!

Health Screening

In order to keep everyone at camp healthy and happy anyone that appears to be ill or has a temperature of about 100 degrees will not be allowed to attend camp for the day. The art project for the day will be put together to be finished at home.

Masks

Face coverings are voluntary and not required.

Hygiene

Hand washing will be done often throughout the day. The studio will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of each day.

Disruptive Behavior

If a child is disruptive during classes, they may be asked to leave. This includes inappropriate language, not using materials correctly or in a dangerous manner, destroying other guests’ artwork or personal property. No refunds will be given if the child is not able to behave in an appropriate way. You may have materials provided to take home if the child is not able to return.

In the event that a child becomes physical in any way they will be asked to leave the studio. This behavior will not be tolerated. The child will not be allowed to attend any future classes/programs. All pre-purchased tickets will be forfeited with no refunds. If wanted, materials will be provided for the project to be completed at home.

We have put these rules in place to protect everyone. We hope to have a fun, safe and enjoyable place for children to be creative. Thank you so much for helping us make this week fun for our children. We can't wait to see you!
