Kid's 7-12 Art Class- Saturdays

Ages 7+

In this 6 week class, children will create two works of art. In the first project, students will work on their drawing skills. Basic shapes will be turned into burrowing animals by adding detail and definition. Students will then use watercolors to create a winter home for their animals to live. The second project will use acrylic paint on canvas. Students will learn how acrylics interact and blend making beautiful textures and color mixes. Drawing is also involved in this project while learning how to sketch out a deer. Working on proportion and scale.
