🦉🌌 Starry Night 3D Owl Collage

Tuesdays, November 4, 11 & 18 | 5:00–6:30 PM | Ages 7–12

In this colorful 3-week class, kids will create a whimsical 3D mixed-media owl collage inspired by the magic of a starry night sky. Using a combination of painting, paper collage, and clay coils, artists will explore color, texture, and layering to make their artwork pop right off the panel!

Week 1:🎨 Paint a swirling starry night background in cool tones of blue and purple.✨ Roll and attach clay coils to add dimension to the night sky.

Week 2:🦉 Create the owl collage using warm, vibrant papers (gold, orange, red, magenta).🌿 Begin adding branches and leaves for contrast.

Week 3:🌟 Add final details — stars, highlights, and finishing touches that bring the owl forward against the night sky.🖼️ Seal the piece and prepare it for display!
